It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up! magazine
Salt-n-Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine
Hangin' pictures on my wall
Every Saturday Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl
I let my tape rock 'til my tape popped
Smokin' weed in Bambu, sippin' on Private Stock
Way back, when I had the red and black lumberjack
With the hat to match

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that Biggie’s music carried me through one of the toughest transitions in my life. Having died when I was a Freshman in Highschool Biggie set the stage for me dream big and find the means for cultivating my talent, love of words and the concept of family. One of the most overlooked concepts of success that Biggie put into the world was that of a team of individuals (Which included rapper Lil Kim) called Junior Mafia. Biggie understand the concept of promotion which allowed his dream to manifest although his life was cut short far too soon. One of the reasons for Biggie success was his willingness to unlock the dreams of others.

Lil Cease and other Brooklyn natives who had grew up with Biggie was able to see a new side of life; based on Biggie’s promise that once he got on then everybody could eat. The words “We all can eat” is something that many entertainers and rappers due to this very day. The struggle is real and once talent is discovered and cultivated; others gravitate and support the rise of that individual. Unfortunately, many of our black men (Pop Smoke) who are rappers fall short and end up becoming a victim to circumstance.

My brother I need you! We need you! Our Black Women Need you! We can’t afford to keep losing you to the streets, police brutality and BS that keeps plaguing our cities. it’s a beautiful thing that you are on the front lines and that you care enough to fight for the changes that our world need. Keep up the fight but know that we generals are in the background strategizing and finding the means to ascend upward towards higher ground. The marching is working on so many levels; yet it’s evident that a new strategy is needed to win the war.

Find Your Mission & Focus: The energy on this planet is super thick and full of chaos. At any moment America could just erupt on the basis of our systems that is resistant to the changes America needs to move forward as a socially evolved country. Help your family, build a T-shirt business, study Nanotechnologies and all of the digital technologies that you can in order to spot opportunities that you can capitalize on.

Build Your Brand: The brand you will build is you. Go to Godaddy.com and buy the Domain with your name on it. I just purchased http://www.TyroneBrackens.com Why? Because, I am trying to build my brand that starts with me as an individuals with morals and ethical values. Branding is more known in the business world. But, we all are brands on a mission towards greatness. Nobody can stop your shine. Get the money and make sure you are letting the world know how you feel about making the world a better place to live in.

Take Care of Yourself: Drink some ginger tea. Walk more of possible and keep your mind, body and spirit in a great alignment. As I previously mentioned these energies and super serious and is in need of a greater understanding of what’s going on in the world. Protect yourself from the external noise around you. Tap into yourself. Nobody is going to love you like you.

Take some Technology Classes: One the biggest mistakes you can make in lieu of this pandemic is sitting idly by not educating yourself. The world stopped just so you could retool and find a new platform for advancing in this digitally sound and technologically driven age. The ball is in your court. Don’t let sports and the corona virus talks stall you out. We all need healing and the means for grieving the changes that has swept across our communities. Black lives matter and so does black education.

Stay in the Game: Tap in. Get off the sidelines and onto the court. One of the reasons why the Clippers didn’t advance as far as they should is because they didn’t lock in. They thought they could just turn the talent switch on and off when they felt like it. They just wasn’t plugged into the bigger picture of what was really going on. On some level I thought they threw a few of those games that’s just my opinion. keep fighting, keep thinking, keep reading, keep grinding, keep growing as a human being.

Get inspired and Motivated to play a bigger game.
